    Dopo vari mesi mi è passata davanti la pagina facebook di Booking.com e così ho lasciato un commento. Booking.com mi ha subito risposto e poi la sera stessa, contattato per email. L’ufficio clienti mi ha scritto questo messaggio:
    “Dear Luciano Crimi,

    Thank you for choosing Booking.com.

    I apologize for contacting you in English but we have no Italian speakers available.

    I am writing to you regarding your reservation 292402754 at FM Hotel, check-in date 2014-05-20, and check-out date 2014-05-24 and your post on Facebook.

    First, I would like to very much apologize for all of the problems you experienced as a result of this booking.

    Booking.com prides itself on providing guest with the best possible customer service possible. It seems, for whatever reasons, this is not what you received.

    Can you please provide receipts for any of the costs that you incurred as a result of this booking?

    In poche parole si scusano e mi chiedono di fornirgli le ricevute per potermi rimborsare se ho speso di più. Io spiego che non ho speso di più ma ho perso moltissimo tempo alla ricerca di un posto dove dormire, sotto la pioggia e al freddo fino a tardi. Ecco la mia risposta con un inglese tradotto tramite google.com:

    “In that period I called the phone number of Italian booking.com but in the end, from the responses, I realized that there was no intention to solve the problem. So I had to take care of myself to find accommodation. To do that I had to lose a lot of time on the first night at 1:00 am. The next night I had to sleep in a bad hotel. On the third day I spent the whole morning walking around with my suitcase and I only found a hostel. I have no receipts, I did not spend more but I had a bad holiday, wasting a lot of time in the cold and rain to search for accommodation. So the only thing you can do and compensate me as a ruined holiday. I know that you will never do, and that’s why I decided to unsubscribe from the site. Through this adventure I discovered that there are many hostels that I can find in other websites without the help of Booking.com.
